:aureola:I'm glad I'm not at your house Irene (pew-wee). I do wish I liked them though.

I had Tomato Soup with some cheese. You did get in more Protein than me though...darnit.

Ack...too much bacon talk. LOL. I want chocolate.

after reading this i just had to think - i don't remember the last time i had a piece of chocolate. i've had a choc Protein Drink, but the last peanut M&M has been MONTHS (those were my fav)

i have a savory tooth - salt & spicey, i'm ok w/the sweet coming from fruit , guess that's a good thing, unless a bag of chips enters the house.

Sometimes I sure wish my husband was banded right along with me, would make meal times a whole lot easier. But he's 6 ft tall and maybe 185. I don't think I could talk the dr into banding him. hehehe

UGH my husband is banded also - but sneaks kettle chips in the house when i'm not looking:frown: he's been at goal for a while now and at 6'4 & 220 he is one big SNACKER. i can look at a chip and it's already on my A$$.

Luluc - Me Too...me too! I'm a salty-savory person too. I do have a weakness for dark chocolate/chocolate-cherry combination; but I'd still rather have a bag of chips...bad bad me.

Can't stand chocolate in any way, shape or form - even the smell gags me!

coffee - unadulterated. If you put all the other crap in it, it isn't coffee.

Deep fried anything - gag!

Salmon - only fresh - not that stuff in a can.

Broccoli - or any veggies - yeah! I love veggies.

Now, cheese...any kind, any style, any flavour, any time, any place.....

And the day is almost over - saints/deity of choice be praised!

Don't be hard on yourself, Mac....you'll always be a loser to me.:cursing:

Aw, plain, you are so sweet!

And today the scale was down 2.5 pounds so I feel better. Too bad it's not my official weigh in day.

Oh at the sternwheel festival here several weeks ago they had deep fried oreos, and other candy bars like snickers and such...it sounded so gross i dare not try...plus imagine how fattening. Ugh lol

How could anyone ruin a perfectly good Snickers bar by deep frying it.

UGH my husband is banded also - but sneaks kettle chips in the house when i'm not looking:frown:

We have rules. I do the shopping and if I don't buy it, Mr. Mac has to eat it outside of the house.

I am posting to tell you all that I am gonna kill you ALL! lol...

Me too. I'm still on the thin liquid diet phase!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
