Me neither.

Today was my second last day at my current job. I had to take 3 (!) walks outside to deal with it cos I was so tired and my shoulder hurt SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much......

Ummmm yeah.

Poor bugger. Is it any better now? Do you have any idea what it is? Huge hugs to you.

As for me, I was so tired last night. So frustrated that I couldn't sleep, I cried. Gosh. It's been a long time since I have been like that. It was a sight. DH tells me I snored like a freight train when I did get to sleep. Something I don't normally do. So it's odd.

Okay...thanks a lot ladies! I normally sleep like a log - can sleep anywhere, anytime...but last night, not so much. I tossed and turned and the night went by soooo sllllowly. I ended up getting up and doing laundry.

This am, I'm groggy and dragging. The floor looks mighty comfy, though.

Good for you! Don't be scared...you'll be fine.

Ack...re-reading that made me grumpy. I hate it when people tell me "don't worry" or "don't be scared". Oh? Is it that easy? I didn't realize!

Soooo....not sure what to say. I am sure you'll be "fine" though, since "fine" is relatively easy to achieve.

Did that help? :tt2:

Cha-Cha is what I'm living off right now! :tt2:

I'm still waiting to win the lottery. Dang it, though - I keep forgetting to buy the winning ticket.

Just Posting To Say...I went to a Water Park on Saturday and loved it! I've hated it for YEARS - I had to sit and watch in the past...too big to fit or to embarassed to try...It was awesome to outdo DH and keep up with my kids!!! I could have never done it without my band...I love my band!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
