Eh, I don't want that show to filmed. I want the show where the violent felons are placed in the desert to fight it out Road Warrior style. That's what I want to see....wholesome entertainment.

I think there was a movie out this year about this...I just asked my hubby - it was Condemed...starred Stone Cold Steve Austin. He said he rented it and it sucked. Instead of the desert it was an island. Educational - Yes? Oscar Material? Ummmmmm - I'm not holding my breath.

Hmmmm....If Stone Cold Steve Austin isn't recognized by the Oscars for this fine, fine movie I will BOYCOTT!

Nope - he's the blond. I've always liked them tall, blond and dumb. They had to handle a car like it's on rails too...ah young love. BTW - DH is a redhead - not quite blond, but close enough. LOL

I re-read that. DH isn't dumb - he just plays dumb sometimes...that sounded bad earlier (sorry DH).

Yes Ennis and his milk. It was so sad. He'd get so close - it was cruel. We didn't play cops and robbers as kids. We played Dukes. Of course I was Daisy (only girl in neighborhood). I can't tell you the bikes I broke jumping stuff. I was quite accomplished at bow-n-arrows and crashes. I probably drove my mother crazy. Just another one of the boys - in a dress. LOL

Right?!? As I admitted earlier, I'm having major brain farts this week. I'm used to hundreds of thousands to hundreds of millions. I'm not used to these small numbers. Wait, them's could be BIG numbers in my checkbook!

United Healthcare - I was just sitting here thinking that I believe my OOP might be 10% so I was guessing $1500ish. I, of course, have no idea what my surgeon charges!

Did an older kid get to play "Uncle Jesse"? I think it'd be awesome to have a kid pretend to be a moonshiner.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
