*susan* 1,709 Posted July 4, 2008 So, I started off the day with my teenage daughter and her friend that spent the night. This afternoon two more girls joined us. So four teenage girls in the house means what? The teenage boys are knocking our doors down. And somehow, I am now feeding them all and taking them to the fireworks. Turler 6 Posted July 5, 2008 Okay I have to jump in on this one! I hate bugs too! We lived in Florida for a short time and the flying palmetto bugs really do 'chase' you. That freaked me out! Now I live in Ohio and we have locusts. EWWWWW! That is the creepiest thing when they leave their crunchy shell attached to the trees! ~C
Pix 4 Posted July 5, 2008 Try living in Alaska, we have a "7 year cycle" for locusts ... at that 7th year "up" you can't sneeze with out a locust or 50 in your hair .. but on the 7th year "down" you can drive 100 miles with out even getting one squished on your windshield.... Now mosquito's ... *shudders* they get so freaking big they could carry off a small child or baby cow if needed ....
