Gone4Now 4 Posted April 3, 2008 Too harsh? I think if I were an outsider reading it, maybe. But, I've read what she's written and she's mean. So, I think she deserves it.
travelgirl 3 Posted April 4, 2008 I don't think she's MEAN, just self-centered. And not very bright. She comes off as being educated, and intelligent to people who haven't read her posts as part of a bigger picture, but to those of us who have, she's just....I don't know what word I'm looking for.... not ignorant.... delusional? I don't know. She genuinely seems to think that she's the poster child for lap-band. But the problems she's had and the mal-nourishment issues she's had, NO bandster should ever have to deal with. Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted April 4, 2008 It would be a shame if any newcomer thought that's the road to weight loss.
babygrl1234 6 Posted April 4, 2008 It would be a shame if any newcomer thought that's the road to weight loss. You mean throwing up daily and barely consuming anything of nutritional value is NOT the road to weight loss? Well there go my hopes and dreams.

Well there go my hopes and dreams. i have no idea what you mean - Mt. Dew has tons of ingredients in it... it has to be nutritious... right? ... guys, why do you keep telling me to get an unfill. there is NOTHING wrong with PB'ing on Water ... really. you can lose tons of weight that way. anonemouse 1 Posted April 4, 2008 I'm attempting to reserve judgement, but I've not been impressed with her attitude in many of the posts that I've read, especially the ones where she makes a not-very-nice comment and then tries in later posts to make it sound like people were just overreacting to her words (for example, the one in the Q/A forum). Wheetsin 714 Posted April 4, 2008 Why do so few people say "thank you" when you put a lot of time an effort into helping them, even if the outcome is virtual? Do you think it's just people taking things for granted because they "expect" people to give them information on messageboards, and since you're doing what's expected of you, there's no reason for a basic courtesy "thank you"? Do you think these people are really just like that, and would've done the same thing IRL? (Whatever you guys are posting about, this isn't related, so don't worry about trying to make connections... I'm just wantonly inserting my own gripes)

Or hell, the people that ask for advice and then ignore it and keep complaining about whatever it is that they were asking for advice about. It's like, "Thanks for completely ignoring me. I won't be so quick to offer advice next time someone asks for it." Itryto at least post again and thank people for replying whenever I ask for advice. Or at least, I try if I remember that I made the thread in the first place, lol!
