We call ladybugs "ladybirds" in the UK and in one part of the UK (Norfolk) they are called "Bishy Barnabys". Please do not ask me why!

There was a press article the other day which said we swallow several spiders in a lifetime, whilst we are asleep, so they do not always make you barf. We call doing a barf, doing a huey.
