Mornin' all. It is 4:30am and all is quiet. The coffee is hot. Just going to make my to-do chore list, and plan my day...love the weekends!

tap-I am so glad to not be the only one waking up this early on the weekend. I am making my shopping list. I haven't started the coffee yet, but that is next on my list. I love having this time to myself...

Peaceful isn't it? To have my coffee in peace and quiet...then I can sit at the computer or the desk and plan my day. I love making lists...whether or not I get to everything on them, it just feels like I'm organized if I have a list and can tick items off.

Have a good day everyone!

Omg, tap, you are so detailed and dedicated! Next to you I am a slouch. It's 9:45, just got up, have no idea what I want to do today. And I LOVE the weekends for that!

Good morning everyone and happy Saturday. I hope it is a good one for everyone. I have lots of crap running through my mind. I also need to clean my house, which is what I am fixin' to do. Laundry must be conquered as well, or tomorrow will have to be nekkid Sunday.

Lulu, I could not, for the life of me, figure out how to change the time on my clock at work. After doing what you do for two years, I finally went out and bought a new one at the last time change.

I am working my booty off today. Cleaning and laundry. No nekkid Sunday tomorrow, too many personal issues. But, I think when cleaning it is absolutely essential that one takes period breaks for LBT and Facebook. Don't you guys agree?

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
