PJTP...I found the cutest pair of "skinny" jeans yesterday. :tongue2:

I am going to go buy them and put them up. They are a 9/10. It will be a long time before I can wear them (currently 22). But they are soooo cute and on sale! It will give me something to look forward to.

I have a pair of 14's in my closet. Started at 24 and currently am 18's. I'm working on it! I know 14's aren't the final goal, but for me it's just a mini-goal.

I have the size 24's hanging behind them so I can see the inches difference in the size.

:tongue2::tt2: Have to try to remember just because PG is my initials, your not talking about me. I have a senior moment at times when I see PG. LOL. I know who it is. I try not to get in the tangle. Because no matter what anyone say's she will always be right in her mind. So her opinion is just that. I prefer to sit back and laugh at the debates. Keeps me amused.

I'm sorry. I didn't realize that was your initials. I try not to comment on the actual threads because I am not really a debater. Those posts just seem to just be...out there.

PG speaks to God daily on a 2 way. Didn't ya know?

The way PG talks, you would think that God was connected via an umbilical cord or something.

I think it is hilarious. My kids ask if I am sure it isn't me(I used to love to debate).but I assure them it is not. I don't push my beliefs on any one. If I am asked I will tell. If I think It is something that needs my beliefs I will tell. But I don't think that I am beyond reproach or the only right person in the universe.:tt2:

Excellent idea! Incentives are nice and tangible evidence of what we're doing. :tongue2:

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
