OK perhaps I should call my doctor!

Donna - I "only" got 2" cut but it feels SO much lighter!!! Once I fix it myself, I'll post before and after pics.

SNT - I've been contemplating a cut too. My hair is halfway down my back but every time I mention cutting it my DH makes his "Nazi" face. Alas, sensitivity training only taught me to be an equal opportunity abuser. he he

donna - i cut 13 inches off after the first 50lbs lost....thought hubby would have a fit, but i told him to pretend he had a girlfriend.....

snt - post them pix...!...

After about 12 loads of laundry washed, dried, and folded, my house is almost back to normal. Having a washing machine available is one of those comforts that I have taken for granted until I couldn't use it like I normally would. It did not take long to build up a lot of piled up laundry. I hope to never go through this again.

SNT - You have gorgeous hair but the haircut is hardly dramatic. Plus, you gypped us! Here I thought we were finally going to get a peek!

Donna - thanks for the compliment. I now wish I'd done the 3" like I thought I was going to. After I fix it tomorrow, I'll have a better idea of whether it was enough. I'd been letting it grow for-ever!!

yeah where your face pic...put on glasses like lulu

SMS - I'm sneaky!<--- SNT  <-- Lulu

re: going darker...early 2000's, I went through a phase of highlighting. Then once I turned 40, I realized hmm, I don't have any gray yet so why not relish the dark hair!?!

PJTP: Omg, OH has a lot of really NASTY people over there! I visited for the first time and accidentally ended up in their Rants and Raves section and omg, they toss around the "C" word like it's going out of style!

Hey all

PJTP--I have a horrible Migraine that will not go away. I am ready to call a cab and go to the ER for it.

C word! Are you kidding me? What kind of people throw "cookies" around in a public forum?

I am also really bummed.....ugh... pictures from the shoot were denied, they didn't like the style of them.....

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
