I hate it when people post just to post.....

When it rains, it makes my 45 minute commute stretch out to 1 hr and 15 minutes and that's if it's just sprinkling. If it decides to really rain, then it's a 3 hour nightmare. *sigh*

OK, let's change the subject--I can feel my blood pressure rising.

The real freak out occurs if the TV weatherman even mentions a minute chance of show.....If there is even a 1% chance of snow flurries, the elderly will descend upon the grocery stores and clear out all bread and milk.

I think Nostrodomus wrote about it.

Who else has shrinking boobs I went from a big D to small C

Wtf? I love my boobs they better not shrink anymore.

I was already a card carrying member of IBTC (Itty Bitty T*tty Commitee). I filled out a D with back fat. Now, my Ds look like I need a pair of socks to help them out. My husband (a card carrying breast man) is VERY upset.:cursing:

I have never understood the bread and milk phenom. Do your tastes supposedly change with the snow so that you ONLY want bread and milk? WTF?

When the snow is real (not just forecasted) and there is a good inch of slush overlaying black ice...THAT'S a fun drive!

It's Thursday morning and the only coffee in the office is hazelnut - why oh why must people have flavored icky stinky coffees. What's wrong with good old strong black 'normal' coffee??? By next week they will be having the mochafrappa-eggnoggy-cranberry-whipcream-steamed-nutmeggy- slop.... Note to self: bring an extra thermos of coffee to work until this phase is past.

PJTP - I am having a terrific morning!:cursing:

Congrats on being 'carded', BBK - that must have felt great!

Traffic woes - I had to drive to work the past two days and I'm soooo glad I'm back on the train today! I HATE driving in rush hour traffic - people abandon their courtesy and goodwill and drive like maniacs! I have a fairly powerful car, and can drive in triple digits if I need to, but dang - every single day?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I stay out of the fast lane unless I'm passing - I don't want to be in the way, and I don't want anyone else in my way when I'm trying to pass...plus you get noticed by the state troopers less when you're in the slow lane

My dad drove semis and a taxi for a while - talk about an *ahem* adventurous driver! My mom said she wore holes in the floorboards of the passenger side of our family cars because she was forever 'putting on brakes' when riding with my dad. My hubby says I inherited his driving sense...:hurray:

Though I grew up in Michigan and CAN drive in snow and ice, I don't particularly like it...the SUV drivers who think they are invincible make it dangerous for those of us who know that no matter WHAT vehicle you drive, you lose contact with the road and it's all over...

NSV - My size 18 pants fit beautifully this morning...no pulling, no gapping and no stress. Looking forward to dropping down to 16's for the first time since high school - maybe by the end of the month!:cool2:

Have a terrific day, everyone!:tt2:

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
