abarr7302 7 Posted April 19, 2018 Today is day 2 post-op. In the hospital I did fine, no air and baby sips of Water. Well when I was living today they gave me a pill pain reliever. So I took it with a little water and ever since then I feel the air inside me. I’ve walked and continued to sip on water but I’m still in a lot of pain. Has this happen to any of you guys? aNYCdb 310 Posted April 19, 2018 Different kind of "air," I would take a chewable gas-x and see if that alleviates things for you. Walking around only helps with the post surgical trapped air, not air in the system. At the beginning I also found that forced belching helped a bit with that gas pain. 1 biakitty reacted to this

GassyGurl 428 Posted April 20, 2018 Walk, walk, walk, and try laying on your left side. It really helps the gas pass. Sent from my XT1254 using BariatricPal mobile app
