Hi all - A quick check in while we’re in a rare spot will cell service. Thought I would leave you with some photos from my journey, a place of complete solitude and peace.

And while you are paddling around in your little yellow kayak. I will be having my,own Rocky Mountain High, standing there, arms outstretched and embracing it all. I think there is something deep inside that makes you want to feel rooted and nature does that for me.🌲

Glacier National Park, Montana

It’s the place that makes my soul happy. I’m glad I was able to come again before my surgery, it provides me with some mindful peace before I start my new journey.

Yesterday we traveled to British Columbia to view the Canadian side of Lake Koocanusa before heading to the US side of the lake:

Well my life sucks kinda. I have a sinus infection that can only be fixed with surgery, does anyone know how long inbetween sinus and sleeve surgery I can do? I dont want to put my 3rd date off again =(

And which comes first the chicken or v the egg and how far apart should they be spaced? This gets my mind off of my" When Am I Going To Get a Date" blues and on to a worse problem. than my bitsy one. I would say space them at least couple weeks apart. As long as your Bariatric Surgeon and Anesthesiologist have,no,problem with your breathing problem, I say Bariatrics first, ENT 👃second.👍

Thats the problem, bariatrics wont do anything if I utter the word infection other than cancel it =( As I have to have blood work done they are going to find it so, I haven't talked to my surgeon about it in case i have to cancel again...guess Im going to have to tomorrow =( I might have to be a winter buddy instead of an Indian Summer buddy lol

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
