MyMojosBack 20 Posted April 16, 2018 Help! Right after my 3/14/28 surgery, my weight loss was buzzing along, but then it just stopped. I’ve been eating 80-100 grams of Protein, drinking 64+ oz Water, and taking my Vitamins exactly per doctor’s orders. The first 3.5 weeks I lost 25 pounds. But in the last week I’ve lost just one pound. My weight has actually been unchanged for four straight days. What gives? I’m afraid I’m not going to keep losing. I still have 50-60 pounds to lose. And it’s only been 4.5 weeks! Seems awfully early for a “plateau.” Thoughts? Experiences? Advice?Thank you!- Scott in Seattle Sleeved: 3/14/18HW: 279.4SW: 258.6GW: 170.0-CW: 232.6-Timeline:3/14 - 258.63/17 - 256.53/19 - 253.63/20 - 250.23/21 - 249.23/28 - 244.74/1 - 240.84/6 - 239.04/7 - 236.64/8 - 235.64/9 - 234.44/10 - 233.64/11 - 233.44/12 - 233.04/13 - 234.44/14 - 232.64/15 - 232.64/16 - 232.
allwet 868 Posted April 16, 2018 you can plateau at pretty much any time as its your body chemistry (hormones) doing the play calling here. just keep following the surgeons plan given to you and it will start again. 1. track your food - use app 2. cardio plus resistance training to power up the metabolism 3. watch those sneaky carbs cause they work against your fat burning. Last and maybe Most important dont weigh everyday. As you can see by how you feel right now when things slow the scale has a negative emotional impact. 1 MyMojosBack reacted to this
Orchids&Dragons 9,047 Posted April 16, 2018 Also remember, 64 oz. is the minimum Water intake, you might need more. 1 MyMojosBack reacted to this
aNYCdb 310 Posted April 16, 2018 Did this "stall" by any chance coincide with your transition to solid food? 1 MyMojosBack reacted to this
Apple203 1,314 Posted April 16, 2018 Its called the week three stall -- or the three week stall. I've seen it both ways! Its normal/common. It generally happens between weeks 2 and 4. I'm on day #10 myself. 3 MyMojosBack, jbmac and Taoz reacted to this
Creekimp13 5,840 Posted April 16, 2018 I lose weight like Wile E. Coyote falling down a cliff. 3 week plateau....then BOOM 5-7 pounds gone overnight, practically. Then the next plateau. Been the way my body works pre-surg and post-surg. Some people just do this. 1 MyMojosBack reacted to this

sideeye 1,440 Posted April 17, 2018 Quote my 3/14/28 surgery I'm going to guess it's the time travel. Temporal flux is hard on the body. 8 2 Hopeful_GS, Orchids&Dragons, Apple203 and 7 others reacted to this
