msauerbrei 31 Posted May 19, 2018 Right and I think when flying home to where your doctor for aftercare is waiting is different than leaving the state or country for vacation. Losebig 508 Posted May 19, 2018 I have flown quite a bit and taken 3 or 4 vacations since surgery 5 months ago, including a month in Florida. No issues with flying or having a normal vacation. I think the first one was maybe 8 weeks out. If you travel just have a good plan for food, both on the plane and when you arrive. I found I lost a lot of weight on vacation because I was so active.
