tajra 1 Posted April 14, 2018 I just got out of the hospital and I’m already struggling. I’m not hungry but I do feel weak. What I mean by struggling is nothing stays down at all. And what good broths can I have? I have the muscle milk and it sucks. Any suggestions?
aNYCdb 310 Posted April 14, 2018 Right after surgery I loved just a diluted bullion cube with some Water. If you are trying to get Protein in try a Bone Broth. Unfortunately you are probably going to suffer through the Protein Shakes for a while, but I would use a whey Protein Powder that way you can make it the consistency you want. 3 James Marusek, tajra and FluffyChix reacted to this
domi 237 Posted April 14, 2018 I had the same issue. My doctor said most important get your Water. I switched over to Unjury shakes with almond milk. After a week, I’m finally getting in 1 shake a day. We all heal differently. 1 tajra reacted to this
FluffyChix 17,415 Posted April 14, 2018 Yeah I used the Herb Ox Sodium Free packets. Loved the beef over the chicken but used both. Also used SF popsicles a lot. SF Jello. And drank Premier Protein drinks diluted in decaff coffee. Made them not as sweet. 1 tajra reacted to this

fatisuncomfortable 4 Posted April 19, 2018 Trail and error unfortunately but once you find some staples two weeks will fly by! Premier Protein is pretty gentle on the system and easy (for me) to get down. I don’t like the Isopure so much it’s pretty thick and rough for me but each tummy is personally sculpted!
