Your right all plans are different, with all due respect I was told Protein Shakes were part of a liquid diet. I started my shakes on day 4 post op.
istytehcrawk 256 Posted April 14, 2018 (edited) To those who are replying to my comment about Protein shakes: the person I quote-replied to (who is not the OP) SPECIFICALLY said she’s is on Clear Liquids right now, not FULL liquids. Of course Protein Shakes are allowed in the liquid stage, but typically not in the CLEAR liquid stage, because the they are not CLEAR (protein Water =/= protein shake). That's definitely correct with Protein Shakes. One person mentioned premier and that it's available in chocolate, banana etc it so that is not a clear liquid. That is why I mentioned Bodiez. My dietician told me about it as it dissolves without colour or taste in Water, broth etc and can be used at every stage. He also said it shouldnt make me sick. Fingers crossed. lo.la 12 Posted April 17, 2018 Update: went to GNC and got some Isopure Zero Carb RTD’s. They’re expensive, but I can at least tolerate them since they’re more like flavored water than a milky shake. Hope that helps anyone else who’s struggling! 1 istytehcrawk reacted to this
