Frustr8 7,886 Posted April 17, 2018 So how are you doing today now that you are settled back into the familiar srroundings of home? Any pain still lingering? I worry about getting up too fast and getting dizzy, do you have any of that? Are you getting in your fluids okay and have you got much walking in? Update us all on your progress, okay?😁

Update us all on your progress, okay?😁 So far very little pain. Mostly around an incision. My biggest issue is lack of sleep at night. I’ve never slept on my back. My knees are bad so I don’t worry about getting up too fast. Lol. So far no dizziness either. I haven’t had any issues getting fluids. So much that it was worrying me that I’m drinking too much fluids. Not walking as much as I’d like (bad knees). I walked more in the hospital due to all the pain meds they were pumping into me. 1 Orchids&Dragons reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted April 17, 2018 Yes I know about bad knees, I've had 2 knee replacements. Maybe they'll give me enough, pain meds that I'll be able to travel at a faster pace around the unit. But I yearn for my own surgery, maybe May? I do enjoy reading other people's stories. it keeps me inspired to,prep on keeping on until the final finish. Hugs❗❤ 2 Orchids&Dragons and Imwichya reacted to this

Francess 38 Posted April 21, 2018 I’m one month ahead of you (surgery 3/13). The first few nights I got up around 1am and slept in a chair. It was more comfortable that laying on my back in bed. Suggestions, get off pain meds and switch to Tylenol, walk, drink your Water, take daily Benifiber to stay regular, and take your vitamins😊 Sounds like you’re off to a good start👍🏼 Best of luck😊 1 FluffyChix reacted to this

I have had good sleep ever since. Thanks for the suggestions. Best of luck to you as well.
