Creekimp13 5,840 Posted April 9, 2018 Stalls are very common. Even stalls that last weeks. Stick with your program, be patient. Nothing has gone wrong. 3 1badassbiggurl, michelemm and FluffyChix reacted to this
heatherjudson 62 Posted April 9, 2018 I’m in a stall right now. I’ve had 3 of them and my first was just after week two of surgery. Just think logically. You are eating way fewer calories. The weight will eventually come off.HW 227SW 221 - 11/27/17GW1 185 - bye bye obeseCW 170GW2 154 - bye bye overweightGW3 1355’6”Size 10 jeans 4 SGirl35, FluffyChix, GreenTealael and 1 other reacted to this
1badassbiggurl 218 Posted April 9, 2018 I stalled for about three weeks. At first I didn’t care much because I’ve been told and from reading different post here, that there will be stalls. But, I’m happy to report that after five days of eating leaner and four consecutive days at the gym ...I got that scale moving again & was down four lbs this morning! 3 SGirl35, Orchids&Dragons and FluffyChix reacted to this
BigDH 26 Posted April 21, 2018 Stalls are funny. My weight has dropped pretty fast in my Eyes. I had my operation 9/13/2017, and its funny , I still weigh my self everyday like an excited little kid! Some days I will lose weight, some days I'll be up a little, and sometimes for a week, ill be about the same weight, then bam the next day, ill be down 2 -3 more lbs, its been a very good transition! I havent experienced any of the dumping syndroms, or anything as of yet. I think the weird thing at this point for me, is feeling my bones, in my shoulders, my hips, and my ribs. Also the other thing I really enjoy, is seeing someone that hasnt seen me since my surgery, and cant belive I'm the same person! wowerinreally 22 Posted April 22, 2018 I will be one week post-op gastric bypass and cholecystectomy tomorrow. I have lost one pound. I choose to not get upset because I KNOW it will come off. I’m following my instructions. My body is healing. Stalls are temporary. Don’t get discouraged.

Matt Z 4,139 Posted April 25, 2018 Just remember that stalls can be caused by your body "recalibrating" itself. If you are still getting your Water in, you are sticking to your diet and you are getting your exercise... then it's nothing YOU are doing wrong, it's just your body taking some time to figure things out and make changes. Also, muscle weighs more than fat, so any exercise that's increasing your muscle mass is going to offset any fat loss. Just keep marching forwards and things will work out. 2 wowerinreally and 1badassbiggurl reacted to this
