I am 5 days out of my surgery and down -14lbs drink slowly and move slowly be strong and stick to the diet. Don't listen to your brain lol listen to your new stomach and stay focused. pattys1096 11 Posted April 9, 2018 MY urgery was this morning. I am in ICU and all went well. They had to remove the band and do the sleeve. I'm feeling pretty good so far. I would describe it as the kind of pain you would feel from doing way way too many sit-ups.
