JitterbugPerfume 23 Posted April 8, 2018 So I am 4 days post op, and I just took my first full shower - soap, Shampoo, conditioner... The works! I can't believe how tiring it was! I wonder if a cooler shower would have been easier. I'm currently laying down resting until I feel better. Has anyone else felt the same? How long before I can get out if a shower feeling good? 2 irishmicmama and GreenTealael reacted to this
Sleeve1stFitNext 924 Posted April 8, 2018 Yes, the first 3 weeks will feel like that. It is because your body is zapped. I think it is best to take a warm shower and if you have a window, crack it open a little to let the warm air out. Once you make your way to soft foods, you will have more energy. 1 Orchids&Dragons reacted to this
frust8 963 Posted April 8, 2018 Might be a little while. 1 you just came out of major surgery, they don't just call it that for lack,of a better term. 2 hot Water dialated your skin blood vessels so not as much blood got up to your brain and balance centers 3 it's hard to stand up nice and straight, soap and rinse successfully, the fact you've been able to for years might not work 4 Just relax and,be kind to you, it's early days yet. In the long haul of things, you'll b e just fine.[emoji13]Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app 1 Orchids&Dragons reacted to this
