msunshne 0 Posted October 30, 2007 Hi everybody. Been reading the boards about 2 months. This is my first post. Right now I'm in day 5 of my all liquid all the time phase before my banding on November 9th. Just did my PCP physical and blood work. First time ever having an EKG and an X-Ray. Man, oh man, do I miss chewing, LOL!!! Mornings and afternoons are fine; it's nighttime that's kicking my tush! I so want something hot and *chewy* to eat Just to answer some questions: female, thirty years old, West Palm Beach, Florida, children's librarian, self-pay, Dr. Rosas from the Wellness Center of the Palm Beaches, probably about 200 pounds to lose. *waves*

sunshiny 0 Posted October 31, 2007 Hi nice to have you join us. I haven't started my preop diet yet, I'll get started 11/1/07. I know I am going to miss all of my favorite foods when I do get started with my diet.
msunshne 0 Posted December 17, 2007 Well things didn't go as planned. LOL!! I couldn't get some of my tests done on time (sleep apnea X2) so my first date came and went. Then came a change of hospital and some additional moneys being exchanged. 2 months come and go and my new surgery date is this Friday, December 21. Just in time for Christmas. So far I've lost 15 pounds on my liquid diet. So far, so good.
maccy 0 Posted December 17, 2007 hi msunshne, i cannot believe all the set backs that can hold things up,especially when you are really geared up for it.....In Australia we seem to have a breeze in getting all the pre-op tests etc done.....i really only needed to have the blood tests done and that was all....i have had my first fill from being banded on the 9th Nov.07 am due to go for another fill on the 14th january......haven't been losing much but also not putting on either...good luck for your surgery and remember to really rest up after it....cheers Maccy
