Butterflies in my stomach since two days ago, and I still have 13 days until the surgery. At this rate, I will be hyperventilating with high blood pressure on the day of. I still believe I'm making the right decision, but any time I think about it, I feel nervous. How are you doing? 1 baribetty reacted to this

I am pleased with how smooth the insurance approval went. It took one day to get an approval so thankfully I did not have to wait. Anyone else have surgery in May? And for those of you who have already had surgery what do I pack in my hospital bag? I am so looking forward to this next chapter in my life. Hi, I'm May 2nd. I am going to pack leggings and loose tshirts for daytime. A loose long cardigan if it's cold. Made sure I have comfy undies. I have stretch crop top type bras that pull on over head. Much more comfy than proper wire ones. I have some loose nighties for sleep time. I'll bring a light dressing gown in case I'm worse than I expect first day and not up to dressing. It's nice to have some coverage if nurses and drs in and out. God I hope I get a private room.

Hopefully we will only be in the hospital for one night! I hadn’t even thought about how many people may be in a room together, I wish I’d asked! How are you feeling as the day approaches? I feel like I’m living in the twilight zone, like this can’t really be happening!

I am nervous but excited to start my weight loss journey. I have some photos near my fridge of when I was size 8-10 to keep in mind how good it will be to slim down if I'm struggling at any point. 1 baribetty reacted to this

I had mine about 3 weeks ago! I would recommend packing the loosest stretchy pants you can find. Anything hugging your tummy will feel worse then you will already feel. Good luck!
