wjgo 272 Posted April 4, 2018 Insurance won't cover a $400 thing of Nascobal. But I've seen $12 popular items on Amazon. B12 is over the counter..... So, WTF with $400. Can I just get something somewhere?Sent from my XT1609 using BariatricPal mobile app
biakitty 12 Posted April 4, 2018 I have nascobal but cant start it till 6 weeks after surgery. In the meantime I am using sublingual B-12 from wonderlabs.com. They taste great and were recommended by my nutrionistSent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app

sillykitty 10,776 Posted April 5, 2018 My surgeon wrote me a prescription for Nascobal, and my insurance also doesn't cover it. I found this, which is $130 off each week's dose http://www.nascobal.com/vitaminb12/save-on-nascobal-with-a-co-pay-card I haven't used it yet, so not positive it will work. Also this site gives you the prices at pharmacy's local to you https://www.wellrx.com/prescriptions/nascobal/ For my area independent pharmacy's are $60 per 4 weeks supply cheaper than the national drug store chains. So if the co-pay card works, I'd only pay $10 for a 4 weeks supply.
