Jogar0804 22 Posted April 4, 2018 Hi all, i had my surgery on March 26. i went home the next morning and i only took the pain medicine that night. i felt like the pain was tolerable. i have now officially lost 52 pounds since my highest weight of 348 a month ago. when i started my two week pre-op liquid diet i was at 326. the day of surgery i weighed in at 319. i didnt lose too much on the diet. today im at 296 which is amazing. people are already telling me they can see the difference. i started the phase two diet which is the pureed diet. this is where im having a little bit of an issue. i cant get past cooking something and then just blending it. it doesnt taste good to me at all. do you guys have any suggestions? GassyGurl 428 Posted April 4, 2018 I never blended anything. I was allowed to choose soft foods and chew till puree. I ate pimento cheese, yogurt, canned chicken, ricotta bake, etc. Sent from my XT1254 using BariatricPal mobile app

Other than blended Soups, I pretty much stayed with liquids until I could do soft foods at 4 weeks.
