aNYCdb 310 Posted April 3, 2018 It's been a pretty bad cold and flu season and I know a number of folks WLS or not who have been sick multiple times (some that just seem to have been sick for months on end). There is no way of knowing if your WLS has contributed to you colds, but if you are doing everything you should be your immune system shouldn't be compromised to the extent that you are getting sick when you shouldn't (especially 8 months out). Losebig 508 Posted April 3, 2018 Keeping my fingers crossed, but since WLS 3.5 months ago I haven't gotten sick despite kids and wife having colds and the flu twice. Stacy160 201 Posted April 4, 2018 Just the opposite actually...I didn't get sick at all, not even with a mild cold, for at least 3 years after mine, possibly longer (it's been awhile).
