HopefullXOXOXO 73 Posted April 18, 2018 I saw the surgeon today for final pre op meeting. I told him my concerns about my head/neck being back too far throughout the surgery. The first time I told him about this he just said "speak to the anesthesiologist" about it. Today, I told him I can't go through with the surgery if that's how I have to be throughout so I FINALLY got an answer to my question!!! I said "I know you're not the anesthesiologist, but you must have seen how people's heads/necks are positioned during the surgery. He told me that they only have to pull my head and neck back when the put the intubation tube down my throat (only a few minutes) and after that my head is straight throughout the rest of the surgery. YAY!!!!! I can't possibly tell you how relieved I am. Now I can relax and focus on pre op diet and getting what I need for the surgery. 5/3/18. Two weeks from tomorrow! CaliRey95 7 Posted April 20, 2018 So glad things worked out hopeful! This liquid diet has been tough and it's only day 3 of 14. Doesn't help that I've gotten the flu. I'm still so grateful for the opportunity. Also, these waters are AMAZING when you need a break from Protein Shakes. 1 melmssc reacted to this

fabu1978 11 Posted April 20, 2018 Hi Everyone!! I finally got my call from the doc office and I am officially scheduled for 5/21 for surgery and 5/2 for my pre op appt. I think my doc requires a 2 week Liquid Protein diet. Is that what everyone is doing? I am excited to get this party started! I can't wait to get my health back on track! Dubbs 37 Posted April 20, 2018 Tenative May 7 date for me. I’ve been stalking this page for a while, but figured I’d sign up when I got my surgery date. I’m waiting for a peer to peer review before my insurance company will cover me. Fortunately my Surgeons staff has been very helpful in letting me schedule before we get final approval. This process has been considerably longer than I expected going in. I guess the additional time has given me the opportunity to do all the research I needed to make sure I’m making the right choice. 1 Neon Star reacted to this
