brightfaith 187 Posted April 1, 2018 When I first started this journey, I could not walk one block without needing to stop due to back pain and breathlessness. Today, I walked 2.7 miles. I was slow -- it took me an hour and 16 minutes -- but my back held up, and I felt really good and grateful the whole time. Anyone else have any non-scale victories to share? 4 Road2Newme3, ProudGrammy, Neon Star and 1 other reacted to this

frust8 963 Posted April 4, 2018 Good that you want and looking forward to zip lining. You won't have me joining you there. I have acrophobia, fear of heights, I get more than 1 or 2 stories and the panic monster wants to take over. Sweaty palms, nausea. and wanting somewhere I can be safe, hidden and treated kindly. Yeah I've got it bad and that isn't good. I can't remember a time I wasn't scared of heights, even when I was normal proportioned as a little girl, maybe there is something sad about a fat woman who's crying like a small child. So I try to keep my feet on solid ground.[emoji20]Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
