Hiccups

Does anyone get the hiccups while eating or drinking or afterwards? Is this normal for this surgery.

I’ve been told it’s an indicator that you’re eating too fast or that you’re full . I get them too

I never had them but then they refixed my hernia a few days ago and this strange feeling of air coming out of my esophagus started happening kow the hiccups so i dont know if this is howbit should feel or if its a sympton of something else.

Welll, sometimes hiccups come with stimulation of nerves, I think maybe vagus?. anywhoo they were monkey-doodling with your diaphragm, sewing up the hole in it which what a hiatus hernia is, maybe they aggravated things in there a little, in which case it is self-limiting, should be,over soon, just a little bump on the roadway of life[emoji13] Now put a big smile on your pretty face, it's gonna be all right soon![emoji13]
