logicwand 269 Posted March 30, 2018 (edited) I've have the weirdest sensation of being full and hungry at the same time. I feel like there's food still in my stomach, but at the same time I feel hunger pains. LOL It doesn't happen all the time, but it's disconcerting. Has anyone else felt this? I'm 4 weeks post op now. frust8 963 Posted March 30, 2018 Could it be cramping of your newly renovated gastric area instead of true hunger pangs? I would say to follow your scheduled plan and see if it gets better.Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app 1 logicwand reacted to this
logicwand 269 Posted March 30, 2018 It could definitely be cramping... it's like cramping with a hunger tone to it. LOL I've been ignoring it and it goes away. It's almost like if you eat something and it doesn't hit that "spot". Yeah, I'm just gonna keep on keepin' on!
pyepez 22 Posted March 30, 2018 It’s acid! You are full but acid feels like hunger! Make sure you’re taking antacid 1 logicwand reacted to this

jess9395 5,449 Posted March 30, 2018 Are you taking a proton pump inhibitor like omeprazole? You might need to add one or increase your dosage. Hunger “pains” at this stage of the game are usually acid. 1 logicwand reacted to this
EatPrayLove 16 Posted April 2, 2018 I was going to say acid. I get that feeling but don’t eat excessice, because I know it’s just that darn acid 1 logicwand reacted to this
