redhead_che 824 Posted March 28, 2018 Just had my first cup of black coffee in 6 months. I stopped all caffeine back on October 1st in preparation for surgery. I just couldn’t shake the tired afternoon slump today and decided to get a small cup since I’m 4 months out now. Holy cow what it did to me! I am like bouncing off walls! I don’t think I’ll be doing this again for awhile 😂 The jitters are real! 2 1 logicwand, allwet and Apple203 reacted to this
Losebig 508 Posted March 28, 2018 Nice, it definitely has an effect if you haven't had it for a while. I haven't added it back in regularly, but tried it and didn't like it anymore for some reason...

Danny Paul 761 Posted March 28, 2018 coffee has only one effect on me, it acts as a diuretic. I worked the midnight tour for over 20 years and coffee was just a beverage to me. I began drinking coffee three months post surgery. I did cut myself down to one cup only because of the diuretic effect. It was counter productive to try to get my fluids in just to piss it away.
