jennypenny1998 41 Posted March 27, 2018 Does anyone else get super lightheaded when they eat ice cream or anything sugary? The other day we treated ourselves to a banana split and after about 2 spoons I just got completely dizzy and lightheaded. I felt so sick and had to lay in bed for a bit. I didn't feel full and didn't overeat, so I'm guessing it was just the large amount of sugar in there.... Is this normal? Does anyone else experience this? Sosewsue61 3,185 Posted March 27, 2018 Everyone has to draw their own conclusions on their body's reactions to food choices, if it makes you feel like crap then stop eating it. Was it on a fairly empty stomach? Ice cream liquifies and enters the blood stream quickly enough in non-altered insides and the logic is it would be quicker in altered stomachs, yes? 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this

It was about an hour or two after dinner... I knew it had something to do with my new stomach but wasn't sure if anyone else was experiencing this. I've had ice cream before and I've been fine, I guess it's kind of a hit or miss thing. I sometimes get this feeling with certain Protein shakes... I'll just keep having to experiment and figure it all out I sometimes forget how sensitive our new stomachs can be 1 Sosewsue61 reacted to this
jaminator 262 Posted March 27, 2018 if you have purged yourself of sugar since october then i am sure you will have a strong reaction, especially with something as sugar and carb laden as ice cream. 1 jennypenny1998 reacted to this
