lrwnewlady 5 Posted March 24, 2018 Hello and happy Friday!!!My surgery was 3/19/18... went pretty smoothly but when I woke up from anesthesia my back was so seized up.... it was just so painful...while in the hospital nurses said it was gas and to walk. So I walked all damn day.... still nothing. Then they say it’s the bed, or you been in surgery too long.... none of the above. It is3/23/18 and no relief. Anybody ever go through this or have any advice
Losebig 508 Posted March 24, 2018 What part of your back? Sometimes upper back neck or shoulder pain can be deferred pain, especially if you had a hernia repair. Did you have back issues before?

Did you have back issues before? It’s in the center going left and right. I did have a hernia repair and I only had lower back pain when I stood too long from getting an epidural from two children. Losebig 508 Posted March 24, 2018 Definitely could be surgical pain since that is right in the area where everything was done. May be worth talking to the surgeon about just to be sure 2 Creekimp13 and Katherine28 reacted to this
