@Abrial was your family orginally Portuguese? Your very pretty name. might be from there or the Canary Islands, I always heard they were very skillful fisherman.

Actually Abrial is a user name I use and not my real one. My family is Irish and my real name is Latin (go figure). I have a crazy mom, that I love and is wonderfully supportive (as is my whole family and my husband’s too).

I got Abrial from an anime (Crest of Stars) and the first time I went to use it I could not get the correct spelling Abriel and used the French spelling. I have stayed with that spelling for years now. Thank you for the compliment though.

Abriel I am Irish enough my 2 sons names: Kevin, and Bryan .I have strawberry blonde hair, is it possible to be an overweight Celtic princess? Malones In my mother's side, Murphy in my father's but 1 extra generation farther back. I suspect that there is Native American in my paternal ancestry but they never admitted it. Do you have Wikipedia on your cell phone or computer? If so look,up Peoria indians, there should be among the pictures --one of a middle aged woman, the N.A. woman is the spitting image,of Aunt Minnie my father"s older sister, instead of someone hidden in a woodpile, I may have somebody lurking in the woods. That branch of family- Priest, but I think it's should have been Shaman. Oh well,, most of us Americans are mutts anyway- our ancestors came from a multitude of different lands. But we do have a can -do attitude and hybrid vigor in us all[emoji13][emoji38][emoji12]

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
