Bitchy grammar rant

Recommended Posts

LOSE........what we hope happens to our fat. We want to lose it.

LOOSE.....how our clothes fit after we LOSE some weight. My pants are loose. The neighbor's dog is loose. The only way I could loose fat, is if I thew a can of Crisco out the door...and I'm guessing it would still be pretty contained as it isn't very ambulatory.

I know...I know...spelling isn't an indication of intelligence. It's not a big deal. We all make a million spelling errors. Myself included.

Just ranting.

Lose....when something is gone.

Loose...your butt with diarrhea.

Lose....when you don't win.

Loose...when you're friendlier in the sack than you oughtta be.

Lose....your car keys.

Loose....your kid's baby teeth.

I'm sorry. Thank you. I feel better.

LOL Oh Lort! Last time we had one of the Lose/Loose Rants it turned into a complete shambolic bust-up that was very entertaining. So I'm gonna put my butt in this chair with my loose-ass pants and enjoy the really big shew!!! :D

The show has come and gone. I don't think reruns are as interesting as the first time it airs.

I had no idea I was being unoriginal. Poop!

*hangs head...does the walk of shame*

As a stickler for grammar and spelling, I resemble those remarks! :-D

Nothing is wrong with good grammar it's never a waist of time to point these things out.

@Creekimp13 I think the old one was before your time. I'd just barely gotten here...and someone wanted to tear me limb from limb. :) Good times!

And besides sweetie everything old is new again. :D It's still gonna be great fun. I reckon it will take 24hours to heat up to a nice little rolling boil. :D

And there are a few in a humorous vein. Late MIL told people her friends went to " Extensive" Care to rehabilitate.
A story from my healthcare days:
Mildred(patient) -
Would you please tell the nurse I need Milk of Amnesia?
Me' Mildred, do you mean Milk of Magnesia?
Midred-No,silly! I mean Milk of Amnesia! My bowels forgot to work!
Sunny Days and Smiles today Everyone!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
