SleeveinIL 386 Posted March 20, 2018 I apologize if this offends anyone. I am 4 days post-op and still haven't pooped. I am actually 6 days without a bm. humblebeast 8 Posted March 20, 2018 Im actually 6 days post op and i had my first bm this morning. I didnt have to use any laxatives or milk of magnesia. pharlow 9 Posted March 20, 2018 If you take milk of mag, take a small dose first! It had been six days for me, so I took MM per our post op instructions. I didn’t think anything about the dose, took the normal 30 mls. I had explosive poo, had to change my clothes, it was awful!! Fortunately,I haven’t has any issues since then.
