Ruiz_13 6 Posted March 20, 2018 My surgery date was 3/13, last week Tues. However I have to say I feel like crap, I'm super miserable. I completely understand that my body is changing and it's going to take time. I kind of just need to vent. My throat is sore from the tubing, anything and everything feels super heavy in my stomach mostly the Protein Shake, I'm nauseous all the time, I'm barely getting 64oz a day. Is anyone else going Through this? Or went through it? When did it get better for you? What made it better? Allie589 171 Posted March 20, 2018 Ugh! I am so sorry you feel lousy. It will get better!! Pain meds, especially on an empty stomach, can cause major nausea. You can ask your md for anti nausea meds-zofran was my best friend during my pregnancy, post c-section and post sleeve. I slept a lot my first two weeks. You will feel better, i promise! Good old homemade chicken broth saved me those two weeks. Sending you lots of love and support! ️Sleeved 8/7/17 HW: 256 SW: 248 CW: 188 on 3/7/18 5'7" GW: 150 1 Ruiz_13 reacted to this

Biddy zz 🏳️🌈 1,004 Posted March 20, 2018 I have a bit of a vomiting phobia so I stayed on the anti-nausea meds a bit longer than I needed I suspect - to be safe! Everything is more bearable when you don’t feel like chucking!! The rest gets better pretty fast. Two weeks out, I was feeling pretty good, going for walks outside, trying flavours of Protein Soup (WAY better than the shakes!) You’ll get there... 1 Ruiz_13 reacted to this
