The Dora Milaje 69 Posted March 18, 2018 Turns out I can eat and be full on 800 cals. And it’s good to me stuff. Fish, veggies, avocado, cheese. This is so cool. 3 Acts238girl, FluffyChix and logicwand reacted to this
The Dora Milaje 69 Posted March 18, 2018 I also am reminded as I read posts here that we all have different relationships with food. I have struggled with disordered eating all my life and watched my mom struggle with her weight and food too. My cousin did this surgery 7 years ago and said she never thinks about food and has to remind herself to eat. She has maintained most of her weightloss. I was hoping that would be the case for me but I am almost a month out and I can see that is not the journey I am on sadly. But I am determined to get to a healthy weight and to have a healthy relationship with food. Anyway this is just me rambling. 2 Acts238girl and logicwand reacted to this
Sleeve1stFitNext 924 Posted March 18, 2018 Unfortunately, we have to change our relationship with food. This will happen over the course of the year. I used to use junk food to comfort me. It was my go to when I was in my feelings. Every now and again, I want to just binge but I do not. I hit the gym instead. I now view food as a source to energize my body, to help me achieve my workout goals. By doing that, I have a better control over my relationship with it. Now Eat to Live and Live to Eat. 2 Acts238girl and The Dora Milaje reacted to this
