I feel like I’m losing slower than I should some feedback would be helpful My surgeon has a chart of where we should be at 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year post op. It’s based on your total excess weight. I have been told that the first 6 months are the most crucial. Whatever you lose in those 6 months, you will lose 50% of that in months 7-12. All that being said, stick to your diet and keep the faith and you will succeed!

Consider, at your current pace you’ll be in the 200s in 3.5 months. That’s amazing. Keep your eyes on the prize and don’t second guess yourself. 3 FluffyChix, Biddy zz 🏳️🌈 and ProudGrammy reacted to this

jes_x 18 Posted March 18, 2018 I feel like my weight loss has been slower than a few other people who were sleeved around the same time as I and I know we shouldn’t compare ourselves sometimes it’s hard not too but I also like the sit back and think about the last time I lost 40kg in 6 months.. umm never! We need to remember just how far we’ve come. You’re doing great.. keep it up VSG: 1st Sept 2017. [emoji1037] 30. SW:130kg. The average through diet and exercise alone is maybe 6-8.
Creekimp13 5,840 Posted March 18, 2018 Ultimately, the best gauge is how well you're sticking to your program. If you're doing the best you can...the weight will come off when it's ready to. Sometimes it comes off faster, sometimes slower. There are a lot of biological factors that work both for and against us. If you're feeling good, have healthy habits, are building a good forever diet and getting exercise....the weight will come off. Sounds to me like you're doing great. Be patient and consistent:) 2 ProudGrammy and Mattymatt reacted to this
