ALFxRNY 540 Posted March 15, 2018 Starting to get excited because I’m almost done with all of my appointments required before insurance submission! My upper endoscopy is in a few hours (I should be sleep), cardiology clearance on Monday, psych evaluation in April, nutrition appointment 6 of 7 the very next day. My very last appointment before submission is a nutritionist appointment in May. My surgeon’s office told me to call them as soon as I am done with the appointment. I’m looking at a June date (or hopefully late May). Sorry for being long winded, just can’t believe how fast it has all flown by. Best wishes to everyone on their journeys 2 ProudGrammy and dreamangel1974 reacted to this

Sosewsue61 3,185 Posted March 15, 2018 Congrats!!! But this is really not the finish line, it is the 'warm-up', the starting pistol goes off when you get the surgery. Good luck and godspeed on your recovery and journey. 1 ALFxRNY reacted to this

I’m well aware that I’m only just starting! [emoji846] 2 Sosewsue61 and ProudGrammy reacted to this

Minor setback because I’m late for this upper endoscopy because the medical taxi is giving me a hard time about sending out a cab that has already been paid for. Thank God my surgeon’s office is understanding and told me to come anyway when I finally get the taxi. 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this

Francess 38 Posted March 18, 2018 So happy for you. It’s nice to start ticking off all the appointment boxes. It seems slow until they give you your surgery date then it rolls! Use this time to research and set a schedule. 1 ALFxRNY reacted to this

Use this time to research and set a schedule. Thank you for the tips! And none of it seemed slow for me. I guess I had so many appointments that my mind was occupied. I’ve definitely learned so much. Now to find Vitamins that I can tolerate (the Bariatric ones I tried were entirely too sweet) and I can check that off of my list!

Maybe you could try the optisource ones. They taste pretty good and dissolve rapidly. They're a chewable orange-citrus flavor. 1 ALFxRNY reacted to this

ALFxRNY 540 Posted March 19, 2018 UPDATE: my cardiology clearance went well and they are sending their clearance over to my surgeon! I officially just have the psych eval and 2 nutrition appointments until everything is submitted to insurance! 2 dreamangel1974 and Mattymatt reacted to this
