_Kate_ 2,224 Posted March 12, 2018 Keep busy, clean the house, do yard work, read the forums, go for long walks, go swimming, ask family and friends to support (if they know). Go clothes shopping, just looking and imagine being in them.... You will do fine Congrats on the surgery date ! 2 FluffyChix and logicwand reacted to this

KatFight 207 Posted March 12, 2018 @Irwnewlady Sounds like you’re doing great so far. This may sound ridiculous but I completed jigsaw puzzles. My husband and daughter ate normally so food was always around. To maintain focus on pre-op and post-op, I would avoid thinking about food by working on some puzzles. It worked wonders! It was great for my brain and I didn’t cheat once. By the way, you are gorgeous! 🌸

Honey43 0 Posted March 12, 2018 The Main thing is stick to the plan they gave you for pre-op. Get your Protein Shakes in by any means necessary. You will be so so happy you did. The Protein shakes are very important if you have found one you like. The pounds will just fall off if you remain disciplined. I messed up with getting my protein in. I feel like I should be down more 7wks in. Wishing you the best.

SIPS in Seattle 345 Posted March 13, 2018 sugar free Jello also is a life saver, especially if you need to chew. Sometimes the urge to chew is what drove me mad on the liquid phases. Good luck, you’ll do great!

MaggieH2 50 Posted March 15, 2018 Flavor Ice light. sugar free freeze pops, I could only find them on Amazon for a case of over 100 for about $30. Sounds like a ton but they store in the pantry and are delicious!
