jayBAYbee 0 Posted March 12, 2018 Found hiatle hernia pre surgery not sure if they will fix it during surgery or not just yet.... Is this something I should recommend to the Dr . . Would you say recovery after for someone with this is more dangerous or difficult
sgtplatano 0 Posted March 12, 2018 I had a Hiatal hernia as well when I got my sleeve done, they will most likely correct it while they are operating on you, I didn't know what it was til after I had the surgery, best of luck
heatherjudson 62 Posted March 12, 2018 I had a hiatal hernia. The doctor said he would fix it if it was big enough. Apparently it was big enough and he fixed it. My recovery has been normal and pretty easy. I was on pain meds for 5 days. I felt fine after that just lower energy for the first 3 weeks after surgery. I started exercising full on 4 weeks after surgery (Crossfit/equinox). This has been the best decision of my life even though towards the end of the mushy phase I was hating life a bit.HW 227SW 221 - 11/27/17GW1 185 - no longer obeseCW 178GW2 154 - no longer overweightGW3 1355’6” 1 pollymatin reacted to this
pollymatin 6 Posted March 12, 2018 I didn’t know I had one until after my surgery. My doctor told me he fixed it. I haven’t had any reflux since. I’m a happy camper.
