Deevanh11 21 Posted March 11, 2018 Well I am 3 wks post op sleeve and I was doing so good. Then I had a hard boiled egg and didn’t pay attention to the bite - awful! I was in pain for an hour but I didn’t vomit. Then again today I wasn’t paying attention to the bite and again pain and suffering- except this time I had to get rid of it. I vomited 2x and finally it felt better. But now my throat and esophagus are burning. Doc says back to liquid diet for 2 days. I have learned my lesson and I hope this helps someone else. FluffyChix 17,415 Posted March 11, 2018 Damn! ((hugs)) So glad you didn't have to go to the ER though!!! Hopefully someone will come by with the exact enzymes to take when this happens? I can't remember what kind and want to get them and keep them here. Think they are a mix of papaya and bromelain maybe? And they will help dissolve food in your tums so you can pass it? But can't remember exactly. I've wanted to get them to have for emergencies. I'm about where you are right now. And chew chew chewing is soooo hard to remember, isn't it? I have to cut things up so tiny it's ridic!

It is hard to remember to chew - I resolved to counting 40 times per bite - it’s hard to do when the bite is the size of a dime! Ridiculous [emoji6]
