Rexcom 39 Posted March 11, 2018 Hello All, I'm new to this site and trying to figure out how to easily locate long-time Sleevers (3+ years post-op) I like to get their seasoned wisdom on the experience. Thanks!
Marigar82 1 Posted March 11, 2018 I am 2 years post op. Best decision I ever made! I was in The hospital for 4 days due to N/V, that was the worse it ever got for me so it wasn’t bad. I’m off my CPAP and no longer on any BP meds for over a year now. **take your Vitamins and exercise** Not 3+ years but hope this helps. I do get hiccups often though 🤷🏻♀️. 1 Rexcom reacted to this
RickM 1,752 Posted March 11, 2018 Pushing seven years out here. Are you involved in a bariatric program yet? If so, they should be able to hook you up with some long term post ops, and there may be some who hang around their support group meetings (if they hold them.) Beyond that, ask away, and good luck on this venture. 2 FluffyChix and Rexcom reacted to this

jess9395 5,449 Posted March 11, 2018 Four and a half years. There’s a “veterans” folder but honestly there aren’t many of us on here regularly. And those of us on here sorta check in and out. 2 Rexcom and FluffyChix reacted to this
Rexcom 39 Posted March 11, 2018 Thanks all! My doc does have a monthly meetup for his post-op patients. Hopefully, I can find long-time sleevers there.....as they can better help keep the experience in perspective. 1 Healthy_life2 reacted to this
