You knew when you were rolling into the Opreat8ng Theatre parts of you were going to be reconfigured, you knew a portion of YOU would be thrown in the surgical trash, but you believed your life would be made better by that small loss, and now you come to terms with THAT and move forward. If there are limitations, you work with what you can, work around the others, and trust the final product will be better. And that is the emotional growth you must go through to finish this journey , reach your goals and take the Victory Lap you deserve! I hope my explaination suffices.
