Weight loss surgery insurance secrets Ebook

The Weight Loss Surgery Insurance eBook!

Has anyone read this? My insureance has an employer exclusion for weight loss surgery. This ebook claims "Even if a policy has a direct exclusion of coverage for weight loss surgery, there are still ways to have it covered. I know what they are."

I have searched the internet for weeks. This guy claims to know something that is not posted on the internet anywhere???

$30 for an ebook is alot of money for me. So I wanted to know if anyone else has read this and can say whether is lives up to its promises or not. I know it says money back gurantee but I've never been able to trust those.

Mary

Sorry, I haven't been on in a while, but no, I have not heard of this.

There is some really good info on Walter and Kelly Lindstrom's site (it is an obesity law firm that specializes in getting insurance companies to pay) about whether or not there is a chance to fight. Check out their site, it's free to look:

Sounds greek to me, too. The previous insur policy I had with my job also did not have the weightloss surgery benefit. If my employer would have chosen it, it would have cost them more to have the benefit and more for me to pay for it weekly. I think now more insur companies are paying for the surgery through individual plans. There are advocacy groups for obese patients who are denied insurance benefits.(In the gray area, this is illegal) However, I do not do ebooks either.

Most insurance companies that do not cover certain procedures do so at the request of the employer. I worked for Toys R Us in their corporate HQ office, and TRU did not cover most of the reproductive costs my wife and I had for my wife having issues keeping a pregnancy. When I inquired as to why the corporation who considered "mom" their greatest asset did not cover reproductive costs, they (HR and the CEO John Eyler, because I wrote to him) told me it's because they fund their own insurance policy and Aetna only administers it for them. The reason why I asked is because NJ has a law that mandates any company with more than 50 employees who has its headquarters in NJ MUST cover reproductive costs. TRU got away with ignoring that mandate as any company who self-insured is covered by Federal law, not state law. That's one reason why I no longer work for those a-holes.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
