Daizeoh 9 Posted February 26, 2018 So I need some help, my doctor recommend the “pre op diet” i haven’t got a date I’m still in the “clearances stage” But one of the clearances was to loose 10-20 pounds so I’m doing the two shakes and one meal a day I’m just wondering if I can snack? Cause I feel like I’m starving [emoji30] , it’s the strangest thing because before this I would eat once a day lol if that ...I think it’s just me knowing that I can’t eat whenever/whatever I want lol I drink tons of Water so idk if that makes a difference , should I ask the surgeons office or?? If anyone can give me some advice I’d really appreciate it 🖤 1 LLG1981 reacted to this
Sleeve1stFitNext 924 Posted February 26, 2018 I would suggest speaking with your surgeon. My pre-op diet allowed for non-starchy vegetables. I ate cucumbers, spinach, and pickles with a little vinegar and black pepper. Just see if they would provide a snack schedule. 2 kakatlady612 and FluffyChix reacted to this
DaleCruse 756 Posted February 26, 2018 Are you familiar with the concept of head hunger? It's when your brain says, "Feed me!" even when your body doesn't need more fuel. It's a huge contributor to weight gain. MANY of us have experienced it. My suggestion is to really understand the concept & be prepared when it arrives. That will give you a huge advantage before & after your surgery. Good luck! You are not alone. 2 harmonyoflife and FluffyChix reacted to this
