GreenTealael 25,443 Posted February 25, 2018 I cannot for the life of me understand why people think wls is cheating or the easy way out... Also anything you thought you would finally do after surgery or at goal that no longer mattered when the time came? I thought I would be juicing daily like I used to, now I can't afford the carbs... Maybe in maintenance mode 2 logicwand and FluffyChix reacted to this
abefroman329 704 Posted February 25, 2018 I thought the general diet would be like when I was on Saxenda, where I could eat anything, but would eat less of it. That has not been the case. Flying coach has been...more comfortable, but not comfortable. And people are still avoiding sitting next to me on public transit. Maybe when winter is over for good and I’m not wearing bulky clothing, that will help. Ive not had the jarring experience of people being nicer to me that I had when I lost weight the first time. Which is good, since that just led to a lot of body dysmorphia. 2 GreenTealael and elforman reacted to this

I still take up a surprising amount of horizontal space. 2 GreenTealael and Pepsipants reacted to this
w1dbc 1 Posted February 26, 2018 So I have a question.. I’m like 13-14 days post op for having the sleeve and I desperately want to eat. Would eating something like mozzarella sticks be bad for the staple line?
GreenTealael 25,443 Posted February 26, 2018 What does your plan say? What stage are you in?
w1dbc 1 Posted February 26, 2018 I’m on stage 3. The program I went through says 2 weeks on a liquid diet then soft solids after that. And a correction I am about 11 days Post-Op
GreenTealael 25,443 Posted February 26, 2018 I wouldn't risk it Instead try a ricotta bake 1 logicwand reacted to this

I did ok with it but had to eat it very slowly. It did help with hunger. If you’re talking about the deep-fried ones they sell at TGI Friday’s, though, absolutely not. 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
GreenTealael 25,443 Posted February 26, 2018 OK its going to depend totally on your plan, but in full liquids I was allowed to have yogurt and thinned out cream of wheat. Did you receive a booklet or any literature about the diet? 1 logicwand reacted to this
w1dbc 1 Posted February 26, 2018 Ok. I was think of trying the fried ones but cutting off the outside and just eat the cheese 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
sleeve21418 42 Posted February 26, 2018 Just microwave a stick of string cheese for the same effect. I can have string cheese on my soft food stage. I’m off full liquids on Wednesday and can’t wait 1 logicwand reacted to this
