frust8 963 Posted March 4, 2018 How about limburger cheese and sliced(i prefer vidalia) onions in rye or pumpernickel bread. That's my liverwurst'--. Type guilty pleasure.Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app 1 BigViffer reacted to this
Little Green 583 Posted March 5, 2018 But... why? And is the Iron heme or non-heme? I will seriously never understand the obsession our society has with bizarre supplements. Just... eat food. Mostly plants. No crickets required.
Creekimp13 5,840 Posted March 5, 2018 Crickets are an awesome source of Protein and they're a lot easier on the environment than cows and pigs. Crickets are also a lot closer to what our guts are naturally designed to digest. The great apes eat a lot of insects. Just sayin' 1 Sleeved36 reacted to this

Brown rice, peas, and soybeans (the 6% that aren't grown to feed cows & pigs, that is) are also easy on the environment. These are all normal, natural foods that aren't freakin' crickets, and you can find plenty of protein powders made from them. I mean, I'm not trying to be a vegan a*****e, but I just don't get it. And gorillas, elephants, and rhinos eat exclusively plants, so what's your point?
Creekimp13 5,840 Posted March 5, 2018 You need to do more research on gorillas:) 1 Sleeved36 reacted to this

Creekimp13 5,840 Posted March 5, 2018 They're honestly pretty damned good. They're kinda nutty and make a great replacement for almond flavor in my favorite smoothies:) They're growing on me.
MrsGamgee 756 Posted March 5, 2018 When I was at the bulk food store this weekend, I noticed some cricket Protein Bars. I'm going to give them a shot sometime soon. 1 Creekimp13 reacted to this
frust8 963 Posted March 30, 2018 When you start chirping let me know. Of course considering the time of year in Michigan and Ohio it could be just Spring Peeper Frogs.[emoji196]Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
