orionburn 1,024 Posted February 23, 2018 1) Track/journal your food again (if you aren't already) 2) Try doing low-carb for a week or two (this has helped me in the past) 3) Change up your exercise routine. Do different movements, different equipment, etc. Lot of people think this is nuts but honestly if you're still working out on a regular basis it sometimes helps to actually take a week off every once in a while, and then dive back into it. Still taking Vitamins, getting enough Water, and hitting daily Protein goals? 2 Creekimp13 and QueenTot reacted to this
Creekimp13 5,840 Posted February 23, 2018 Wear a step counter and try adding 1000 steps each week, or every other week. They add up:) Get a walking buddy. 1 QueenTot reacted to this
DropWt4Life 957 Posted February 23, 2018 Start eating clean again. Avoid processed foods, junk foods and fast foods except for every once in a while (once every 2-3 weeks). If you don't currently exercise, start a routine. You should be getting several hours of physical activity per week. Track your diet, so you know where you are going wrong. If you are eating clean, watching your calorie intake, and getting in a reasonable amount of exercise, you should be able to rev up your metabolism. At 6 months out, I have pretty much stopped losing weight. However, I am still losing inches as I continue to work out. My body fat percentage is right around 15% now, where I was at 40% before surgery. A month and a half ago, when my stall began, I was at 17%, so I definitely have continued to progress. I know exercise, and weight training in particular is not for everyone, but it is awesome for changing the way that your body looks as well as helping to rev up your metabolism. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn 24 hours per day. Good luck to you. 3 QueenTot, ProudGrammy and proud grammy reacted to this
