Last yoga class.... not sure what to do now

Recommended Posts

My husband and daughter went to spin class awhile ago and they really liked it. My husband wasn’t in the best shape at that time so that’s really saying something.

There are also lolo apps on iTunes. The company is lolo. Apps can be purchased (low cost) and viewed on phone, iPad, etc. each app runs through a series of exercises which are shown on screen. Music can be added and timed. There apps include “7 min workout,” “bootcamp,” etc. You may like those.

I sent you an inbox message I could not find the app not sure if you saw as yet but please get back to me whenever you see this @KatFight

Hi. There wasn’t a message in my inbox so I thought I’d correct myself on the thread. (You can message me anytime though.) I mistakenly said to go to iTunes. Instead, go to the App Store. Click search then type in lolo. You’ll see a lot of apps that are not the app you want like games, puzzles...keep scrolling down until you see one that is health/exercise-related. One of their apps now is something like weight-control Protein. Once you find one click on it. Then you’ll see dots in upper-right handside. Click on those dots and other lolo apps will appear. Sorry for my mistake. I hope you can find them now. If not, let me know please. E6817C0E-D07A-4436-B43B-4204890EFA5C.thumb.png.3ed57d0be8f0dc917651e9bde77da7c4.png

Jess if I ever need fitness training advice, you are one of the first people I'd ask. You're a treasure of experience and insight in that particular topic.
How weird is this? My dog training club does dog yoga....where you do poses with your puppy. It's sort of hysterical, and probably couldn't be called real yoga....but everyone laughs a lot and the dogs seem to enjoy it:) Some good stretches.

And you’ve opened my eyes to plant based eating ideas! I’m still a total carnivore but open to alternatives too... love my edamame pasta!

Dog yoga sounds so much fun! A shelter near us does cat yoga and I totally want to try it! And have you watched the goat yoga videos?
@goldenbarbie I hope you saw my list on your gym workout thread and my ideas here. You never seem to acknowledge my contributions. I put some time and effort into both replies/lists... more so the they one, but just making sure you got them!

Here’s the scrolling page. lolo has many options. The images change so one day it may be lolo 3 day cleanse, another day it may be bootcamp. Tap on app shown in App Store then tap dots upper right and more activities in the app pop up (like above).

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
